High Five for Friday!

I missed out on last week's High Five for Friday, so I've got two weeks to cover! Here it is! 

(I've also been horrible with taking pictures this week, sorry!)

1. DOUBLE DATES

My boyfriend and I went on a double date last Friday with our good friends, The Yeagers. (Check out Lindsay's Blog) We had such a good time eating and catching up (and eating more). It's so nice to spend time around other couples, especially one like the Yeagers who have been together FOREVER.

2. BOYFRIENDS WHO PRAY WITH YOU (and  cook for you)

This is kind of funny because my boyfriend LOVES to tease me about my "High Five for Friday" and "Wishlist Wednesday" posts and my blog in general, but, hey, I'm going to make him rich off of this blog one day! (JUST KIDDING) Anyway, why not give him a little high-five this week! He deserves it! First off, he was blessed this summer with an amazing job at a law firm, high five for that, Puppy! But what he is getting this high five for is his spiritual job. I'm a firm believer in the man being the spiriual leader of the household and in the importance of Christ in the center of every relationship. Wednesday, my boyfriend cooked dinner FOR ME and before we did we held hands and prayed together. It's hard to put in to words the peace it gives you when you find a man who will do that for you.

3. WEDDINGS

One of my best friends/big sister is getting married in July and I am the Maid of Honor! I've been unreal excited for YEARS about this wedding since I'm pretty sure we started planning it in my bedroom when I was 17. Meredith has always been someone who helped me believe in love and fairy tale romances because she always did and now hers in coming true! (Wow, I need to save that for the speech.) I'm just so proud of her and we've been talking so much about it that I had to give it a high five! And for giggles... here's a throwback!

4. NIGHT SWIMMING

My boyfriend and I went swimming Wednesday night and it was AWESOME. For me, the first night swim really signifies that summer is officially here!

5. SOFTBALL

I must give my last and BIGGEST high five to my Alma Mater's softball team! They took down a tough team last night for their ticket to STATE! My high school hasn't been to state for softball since 1994.
